School Field Trips
Visit our little farm nestled in the Texas Woods

It's always a great learning experience to explore the farm and woods.

See Simon the Donkey, the goats, chickens, and all the other farm animals.
Walk the woodland trails and visit the gardens.

We are strong supporters of hands-on education. Our little farm will expose the children to, not only farm life,but the flora and fauna of the native Texas woods.

Homeschool and public school field trips are available.

All Field Trips are held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from April through October.

Event field bridge

K-12/HOMESCHOOL FIELD TRIPS:

Cost is $10 per student, no fee for teachers or chaperones.

Field Trips generally last 2 hours.

The minimum number of students for a field trip is 10.
Maximum number is 30
Rain day reschedule available at no charge
Upon arrival, meet with farmer under the pavilion.

VISITORS SHOULD BRING:

Hats, closed-toed shoes, seasonally appropriate clothing

Sunscreen

Bug Repellant

Water bottles

Bag lunches

Notebooks and pencils

FARM RULES:

Always follow farmer's instructions

Do not wander ahead or away from the group

Do not trample or damage the plants

Do not throw rocks or swing sticks

Treat the animals with care and respect

Do not touch any tools unless instructed to by your farmer

Please throw all trash in trashcans
